One of the best things about being the Founder & CEO of MML Dynamics is getting to know other people on a deeper level. So let me share a little about myself.

MARJORIE.

I AM A DATA SCIENTIST, EDUCATOR, AND CONTINUAL LEARNER.

MY STORY

For seventeen years, I taught high school math, and I have a teaching certificate in the state of Texas. I also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Rice University, a Master of Science in Secondary and Higher Education from Texas A & M Commerce, and a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from University of Texas at Dallas.

In 2023, I founded MML Dynamics to help people achieve their goals through efficient and independent programs and access to quality mathematics education.

WHY DO I TEACH?

I teach because I like helping people. Many people do not have a growth mindset and think they cannot learn math or data science. They are afraid of making mistakes and avoid learning as a result. What they don’t realize is that mistakes are where the real learning happens. Making mistakes is a form of scientific research. I teach not to cause people to err but rather to help them grow and learn techniques for solving problems. Brain research shows that when you make a mistake, your brain grows. When you make a mistake and realize it, your brain grows even more.

I break concepts and techniques down into simple steps so people can understand them and apply them to various situations and scenarios.

MY VALUES

Intellectualism

Intellectualism drives me to ask how, why, and what if. The answers to those questions give me a deep understanding of concepts so that I can deconstruct concepts for others and empower them to make strategic decisions.

Empathy

Thinking of others is a great strength. Empathy makes my programs efficient and independent. Empathy makes my mathematics instruction clear to audiences at any level.
